Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Photoshoot

Our photographers Jesper Van der Noor and Willem de Zeeuw spotted a space grey Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG while on their way from the Geneva Motor Show and managed to take a few photos of the grand tourer. Having being unveiled at around the same time with the Ferrari 458 Italia, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is considered to be the modern 300SL Gullwing revived in 2007. This one had 630hp and a black finishing on the grille and wheels.

The grand tourer is powered by a front mounted 6.2 liter V8 engine with double over head cams, its mated to a 7 speed automatic transmission and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.8 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 211.3 mph. Of course, these numbers are prawn to change depending with the package, for the Black Series package, the numbers are even more exciting.
