Two most anticipated cars made their way to the Geneva Motor Show 2013, the McLaren P1 and the Ferrari LaFerrari. These are two supercars that will likely hit the same road that their predecessors have followed in recent years, and that is comparison in all aspects. Just a recap, these two cars come with a similar electric motor system and closer performance numbers, the McLaren P1 a mid-mounted 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine fitted with two turbochargers and an electric motor. Together, this produces 916ps (903bhp) and a maximum torque figure of 900Nm. The petrol engine alone produces 737ps (727bhp) at 7,500rpm, and 720Nm of torque from 4,000rpm with the electric motor supplementing 179ps (176bhp) and 260Nm of torque.

The Ferrari LaFerrari uses a 6.3 liter V12 which is connected to an electric motor. The Ferrari F150 V12 has an output of 800hp at 9.000 RPM and 700Nm at 7.000 RPM while its electric motor has a maximum output of 163hp and 270Nm of torque. That delivers a total combined power output of 963hp.

  1. How can you prefer the Lambo to the Porsche? Anyway I doubt we can have any laptimes on the Lambo ever, having only three. With luck with the stig.
