Video: AMS Alpha 12 Nissan GT-R Sprinting From 60-130mph in 3.3 Seconds

Despite every supercar manufacturer treating 0-60mph or 0-100km/h times as the Holy Grail for determining a supercars class, for most everyday citizens and owners of such cars, it’s an irrelevant statistic.

For most drivers, rolling acceleration times are far more important for everyday tasks such as overtaking, and the following Nissan GT-R Alpha 12 by AMS and TopSpeed Motorsports has to be one of the fastest cars on the planet in that realm.

As the following clip shows, the car 1200hp Nissan GT-R Alpha 12 manages to sprint from 60mph to 130mph in just 3.36 seconds without even breaking a sweat!

And if that still fails to impress you, then check out the car’s quarter mile time. Despite its massive power and ultimate traction difficulties, it completed the quarter mile in just 8.9 seconds at 165mph.
