Not since 2011’s Senna documentary have we been so excited about a cinematic release! Rush will hit cinemas later this year. Directed by Ron Howard, it depicts the Formula 1 rivalry between drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda played by Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl respectively. A new trailer hit YouTube today.
The film uses many period and replica race cars such as the McLaren M26. Filming took place at Blackbushe Airport in Hampshire, Snetterton in Norfolk, Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire, Brands Hatch in Kent and at the Nürburgring in Germany among other destinations.
