A Film on the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance 2013

There is one thing that has constantly remained constant over the years in the evolution of sports cars, and that’s the intriguing sound they exhale. In that regard, we bring you a beautiful follow up video of the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance which took place on March 8. We had showed you quite the event in photos; this is a small film by Justin Lapriore of Letsmakemedia as a summary of the whole event.

The film shows you almost all the cars that were in attendance with the most enticing scenes being those that reveal the sounds of these supercars from the past. The event featured nearly 250 rare vehicles from various collections at the Golf Club of Amelia Island. Since 1996, the show’s Foundation has donated over $2 million to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, Inc. and other deserving charities on Florida’s First Coast.

Like said before in our earlier posts on this event, this year’s edition was special because they were celebrating 50 years of the Ford GT40, 50 years of the Corvette Stingray, 50 years of the Porsche 911, 50 years of Lamborghini, as well as Ducatis and the cars of Harry Miller. The event also celebrated the iconic Ferrari 250 GTO.
