Aston Martin V12 Vantage Gets Discontinued

After being in production for a good four years, Aston Martin has officially confirmed through a letter to its dealers that the Aston Martin V12 Vantage has been discontinued.

Based upon the 2007 Aston martin V12 Vantage RS Concept, the production-ready Aston Martin V12 Vantage debuted in 2009 and was originally limited to just 1,000 units none of which would have U.S homologation.

However, when Aston Martin did decide to sell the V12 Vantage in the U.S., production increased steadily to the current 1,320 units with variants such as the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster and V12 Zagato finishing the lineup.

The aforementioned letter was reportedly sent to dealers on April 19th, 2013 and stated that orders for the Aston Martin V12 Vantage are no longer being accepted.
