Gumball 3000 Team 44 in a Porsche 997 Turbo has become the third victim of the Gumball 3000 2013 Rally. The crashed happened during the last day of the rally on the Austrian A2 highway near Villach on the way to the final checkpoint in Monte-Carlo. The crash follows two earlier accidents of a Lamborghini Murcielago crash in Sweden on the first day and a Ferrari 458 Italia accident in Latvia on the third day of the rally.

Another Gumball 3000 participant told us that the driver and passenger of the Team 44 Porsche are ok. The Porsche on the other hand will be in for some serious repairs. As with the other two accidents the road was wet due to the extreme weather that took hold of large parts of Europe these days. In the mountains near Villach it was even snowing, very unusual for this time of the year.
