Villa d'Este 2013: Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale by Zagato

The Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale by Zagato is unquestionably the perfect combination of Italian styling and American brute power.

Powering the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale by Zagato is the engine which powered the range topping Dodge Viper ACR-X. This is a 8.4-liter V10 engine delivering 640hp and 585lb-ft of torque. All that power is then sent straight to the rear wheels via a manual transmission.

At a first glance, the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale by Zagato’s relationship with the Dodge Viper is immediately apparent as it features the same swooping long hood as the Dodge Viper as well as the short tail and the Dodge Viper’s trademark side-exiting exhaust pipes.

Apart from those features, the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale by Zagato features completely custom Zagato designed bodywork, including a double-bubble roof and a unique set of wheels.

  1. The Zagato body is beautiful, that is what Zagato has done for decades; they create great car designs. But a Viper with an Alfa Romeo concept body is not an Alfa Romeo.
