Belgium based Mercedes-Benz tuner Expression Motorsport have revealed the first Mercedes-Benz SLK R172 wearing their Wide Body R body kit. The kit comes shortly after they introduced the wide body kit for the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG.
According to Expression Motorsport, the kit is suitable for both racing aesthetics and performance purposes on the track. The kit comes with larger openings in the front bumper which enhance the engine cooling. To enhance the racing aggressive look, the kit adds carbon fiber inserts and carbon fiber front spoiler. You also get side skirts set L+R and dual exhaust pipes in the kit.
Also on the front bumper you find LED daylights and directional fog lights. There is also a set of fender flares which come in 8 pieces. These fenders have air intakes and will also allow you to fit the sports car with wheels in sizes of 19 inches or 20 inches. The car has a lowered suspension to keep it stable at high speeds. There is a carbon fiber rear diffuser and a trunk wing with carbon fiber deflector all which add up to the menacing rear look.
