We came across an interesting project based upon an Audi R8 done by Felgen Outlet in Germany. The interesting part surrounds the wheels they used. These wheels are Messer ME03-3 Turbo-Fan which come with either a reverse lip or flat Lip design. The forged center disc comes with a medium concave profile or deep concave profile.
This was a fast one as we have not seen them before on an Audi R8 but if you are from around Germany then probably you have seen several tuner Audi cars running these wheels. The size of the wheels is 20 inches and they are then wrapped with Hankook Ventus S1 Evo tires. They used KW coilovers as part of the suspension enhancements.
The body paint on the Audi R8 which is classic sport grey blended in quite well with the wheel finish. The 4.2 liter V8 produces 445hp after their detailing. Definitely a mixed reaction in such a project but tuning has always been about pushing the extremes, lets here you thoughts in the chat box below!
