BMW Concept M4 Coupe

Here it is, in all its glory, the BMW Concept M4 Coupé! The BMW Concept M4 Coupé has now been unveiled in full detail from all angles. The M4 will receive its full live release this weekend at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance 2013. When the new two-door Coupé hits the market it will do so with none of the outgoing BMW M3 Coupés provenance or history. BMW are taking a massive gamble!

The most striking thing about the BMW Concept M4 Coupé is the unique Aurum Dust paintjob. The large air inlets in the front also provide a distinctive look. As with the outgoing BMW M3, the Concept M4 Coupé gets a range of carbon fibre reinforced plastic elements such as the front splitter, the roof and the rear diffuser.

The front gets twin round headlamps featuring LED technology as well as the characteristic power dome which has actually reduced down in size over the previous generation. The Concept features 20-inch M alloy wheels which come in a twin five-spoke design and which hide M-Division carbon ceramic brakes.

The BMW M4 Coupé will most likely feature a 450 hp power rating and 550 Nm of torque. It should be enough for a sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. Top speed will likely be limited to 250 km/h. Of course, no details have been released for the BMW Concept M4 Coupé so we’ll have to wait until the production ready car hits the market.
