Brabus ML 63 AMG

We’ve already seen the B63 620 Widestar packages for both the Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG and the Mercedes-Benz GL 63 AMG. Today, Brabus released the next stage of its power packages for the extreme SUV’s. Both use the tried and tested B63S package.

The 5.5-liter V8 Biturbo is the main talking point of the package. The central feature of the package are the enlarged turbocharges which are able to handle more boost and higher pressures. The package also includes new intake and charge-air pipes with Brabus Gold Heat Reflection insulation and a free-flow metal catalyst exhaust system.

Power is up to 700 hp at 5,300 rpm and an electronically limited 960 Nm of torque from as low as 2,000 rpm. Both cars retain the AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic which makes 100 km/h possible in just 4.4 seconds for the ML 63 AMG and 4.6 for the GL 63 AMG. Top speed is limited to 300 km/h in order to protect the tyres.

In terms of aerodynamics, both cars feature new front and rear spoilers. The side gets a new set of air inlets, while the rear receives a new diffuser. The fender flares add six centimeters to the width of the ML Class at the front and rear axle while on the GL, they add eight centimeters in width. They hide brand new 23 inch wheels available in five distinct designs.

Interiors are tailored to the customers own unique tastes. They range through wood and genuine carbon-fiber trim sets in any desired color and with a variety of surface finishes. Brabus control modules are available for the Airmatic suspension systems. These lower ride height to create a more aggressive style!
