Porsche 911 by DP Motorsports

The team from DP Motorsport has just released a very special Porsche Anniversary 911 3.2 Sleeper. The car combines the classical styling of this old Porsche 911 with some modern-day technology and engineering know-how.

First and foremost, the Porsche Anniversary 911 3.2 Sleeper by DP Motorsport is significantly lighter than the standard car weighing in at just 905kg. That’s thanks to an impressive 280kg being stripped out from the vehicle! DP Motorsport was so fixated on reducing weight that every layer of paint and undercoating was removed to make weigh for lighter body panels and lighter paints. For example, the windows are no longer made of glass and instead hardened perspex.

Powering the Porsche Anniversary 911 3.2 Sleeper by DP Motorsport is a 3.2-liter six-cylinder engine delivering a total of 270hp and 307Nm of maximum torque. Those figures are significantly higher than the standard car thanks to two 100 cell catalytic converts from HJS as well as a titanium RSR racing exhaust system. That powerplant is then mated to a 5-speed manual transmission completed with a limited slip differential, a short shift mechanism and extended shift lever.

The Porsche Anniversary 911 3.2 Sleeper by DP Motorsport then features a set of Bilstein shock absorbers combined with Super Pro polyurethane bushings and Uniballs. The car is rolling on a set of Michelin semi slick tires measuring 225/50 at the front and 245/45 at the rear.
