German supercar manufacturer Gumpert has once again filed for provisional insolvency after its financial backing fell through once again. The company had originally entered into bankruptcy a little over a year ago. The investor, who’s identity was never made public, is thought to have backed out of the project.

Gumpert had secured new investment early this year. The company made a string of public display’s at events such as the Geneva Motor Show and Top Marques Monaco. It is thought that engineers had already started work on the successor to the Gumpert Apollo, however, that work will now be put on hold unless an investor can be found once again.

Lets keep our fingers crossed.
