Toyota has just released a very intriguing short film showcasing its race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2013 which took place earlier this year.

2013 marked the second year Toyota was racing its TS030 Hybrid prototype in the LMP1 class and while Audi ended up taking the victory, Toyota will obviously draw on its experiences this year to hopefully come back even stronger for next year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. When this year’s race concluded, the Toyota TS030 Hybrid of Anthony Davidson, Sebastien Buemi and Stephane Sarrazin came home in second while the car of Alex Wurz, Kazuki Nakajima and Nicholas Lapierre finished in fourth.
The video showcases some of the most intense moments of the endurance race and includes some incredible driving action as well as input from the driver’s themselves. It was produced in honour of Allan Simonsen who sadly passed away following a crash during the event.
