Porsche are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the legendary 911, arguably the worlds greatest and well rounded sportscar. The distinctive raked trademark silhouette has not changed a great deal, the brand new 911 Turbo S that GTspirit tested still resembles the original car. A party was in order for the rear-engined car that sprouted from the 1930’s Volkswagen Beetle.

To celebrate the German company went to the Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort. 45,901 spectators visited Circuit Park Zandvoort in The Netherlands this weekend. Enthusiasts celebrated the history of the Dutch circuit and 50 years of the 911. With a special ‘50 years 911’ parade on the circuit and an iconic line-up of 7 generations 911 on the paddock.
