Techart GrandGT

Techart have released their TechArt GrandGT at IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2013. The new package is built upon the facelifted Porsche Panamera Turbo and features a number of key changes over the old package. We caught up with it on the stand.

The TechArt GrandGT aerodynamic kit consists of a completely new front apron with integrated splitter and large air intakes. These larger intakes dramatically help airflow through the brakes. Joining the new front apron are the TechArt Multifunctional Daytime Running Light System which combines daytime running lights, navigation lights, parking lighter and indicators all in one housing.

The TechArt GrandGT then features a carbon fiber hood with additional air outlets. The side skirts and wheel arch extensions mean that the GrandGT now measures 42mm wider at the front and 84mm wider at the rear compared to the standard Panamera Turbo. From the rear, the TechArt GrandGT includes the TechArt rear spoiler III as well as a TechArt roof spoiler. Additionally, the TechArt GrandGT then incorporates a new rear bumper as well as dual oval exhaust pipes as part of the TechArt sports exhaust system.
