After a thrilling experience at the Nurburgring this weekend where the Blancpain Endurance Series and Lamborghini Suoer Trofeo races were taking place, Nick Verbruggen an automotive photographer packed and embarked on his journey home. A few minutes after joining the E31 highway at the height of Waldorf, a trio of Lamborghinis drove past them and as avid spotters they took out their cameras and started shooting.

A few minutes later, one of the Lamborghinis- a Murcielago started smoking from behind before it was engulfed by a ball of fire. In less than 15 minutes, it had been reduced into ashes and as the photos further detail, the fire spread so fast and outdid the speed of fire-fighters who only put off hot ash. This incident comes barely hours after the Brooklyn Lamborghini Aventador crash, an indication that we need to be extra careful on our roads!
