With the 2013 motorsports calendar almost at its end, the North American Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series will see its final two rounds. The first is happening at the Virginia International Raceway before the last one at Fontana Indy Car on 20th October. Race one at the Virginia International Raceway has already taken place and it was the No. 63 car of Justin Bell with Change Racing and Lamborghini of the Carolinas that won the race.

Round 7 has seen new-comers who have also stunned the scene by setting quickest laps. Most notable is Andrew Palmer for Lamborghini Beverly Hills and GMG racing who posted the fastest time during qualifying taking pole with a time of 1.52.582. The 19 year old who studies Maths and Economics has just completed a successful karting career and has high chances of shining in the series.

Kevin Conway started the race in second place on the grid while Justin Bell started third. Palmer had lead the race quite well but when the mandatory 45 minute pit window opened the experienced Conway who is also the series leader in points pitted leaving Bell to push on further. The two would then fight for the lead but it was Bell who managed to get the win, Conway came second while Al Carter for Lamborghini Palm Beach and Mitchum Racing finished third.

As for Palmer, he won in the Amatuer category after an outstanding first career race!

Lamborghini of Beverly Hills alongside GMG Racing had entered the No. 33 car of Bruce Jenner and Brandon Jenner and the No. 14 car of Andrew Palmer while race one winning team Change Racing had also entered the No. 29 car driven by Kevin Conway. Mitchum and Lamborghini Toronto are racing the No. 50 car driven by Louis Philippe Montour.
