2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Joins Dubai Fire Brigade

This year, the Dubai Police Force has stamped its authority of crime in the region by unveiling supercar after supercar to join its ever-expanding fleet. Just some of these cars include an Audi R8, Brabus Mercedes-Benz G-Class, Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG, Lamborghini Aventador, Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro SS, Aston Martin One-77, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and a Bentley Continental GT.

Well, now it appears that the Dubai Fire Brigade is getting on-board recently adding a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to its fleet. Now obviously, this Corvette Stingray won’t be used to fight fires and will instead be simply used to attract attention for the Dubai Fire Brigade at car events and shows around the city.

With that being said, it does still feature a host of visual changes compared to the standard Corvette including a lightbar on the roof as well as a bright yellow and orange wrap or paintjob!

To refresh your memory, the 2014 Corvette Stingray is the most powerful base-Corvette ever produced with its new LT1 V8 engine producing 455 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. When equipped with the sports exhaust system as part of the Z51 Performance Package, those figures rise to 460 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque! By all accounts, the brand new Corvette is by far the best yet!
