More Accurate 2015 Lamborghini Cabrera Renderings

Wildspeed recently brought us the following exclusive renderings of the 2015 Lamborghini Cabrera and based on recent spyshots, they could prove extremely accurate to the real thing. As the release of the new Cabrera edges ever closer, Autoweek.nl illustrator Marco van Overbeeke has created the following renderings which could also prove very accurate to the real thing.

Featuring an all-new front end, the 2015 Lamborghini Cabrera appears longer and lower than the outgoing Gallardo and has clearly received some design traits from the Lamborghini Aventador such as through the Y shapes in the headlights. However, whereas the Aventador has just one of these Y’s in each headlight, Cabrera prototypes have had two and this rendering showcases that.

Additionally, the new Lamborghini Cabrera will feature a completely overhauled rear end with all-new slim taillights and a new quad exhaust pipe setup. If the 2015 Lamborghini Cabrera looks anything like this when it is released, it should prove extremely popular among supercar and Lamborghini enthusiasts alike!

More Accurate 2015 Lamborghini Cabrera Renderings

Under the hood, the Lamborghini Cabrera will feature a similar 5.2-liter V10 engine as the outgoing Gallardo. However, power is expected to be lifted towards the 600hp mark.

Arguably most significantly however, the 2015 Lamborghini Cabrera is expected to feature an all-new seven-speed dual-clutch transmission indicating that Lamborghini has finally succumbed to the pressure and won’t release the Cabrera with a similar ISR transmission to the range-topping Lamborghini Aventador.

It’s most likely that the 2015 Lamborghini Cabrera will make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2014 in early March next year. Also as expected, the 2015 Lamborghini Cabrera will likely share many technical features with the upcoming second generation Audi R8 which will hit the market after the Cabrera.
