MTM have grown a reputation for producing some pretty outlandish Audi RS6’s in the past. Their latest is on display today at the Essen Motor Show 2013; the MTM Audi RS6-R. For most, the latest-generation Audi RS6 is more than enough to get your adrenaline pumping while still being able to transport your kids to and from school. However, tuners MTM have recently completed work on their official power pack for the German super-sedan and it sees quite significant performance gains.

Powering the regular 2013 Audi RS6 is a twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing a brutal 560 hp and 700 Nm of torque. Consequently, the RS6 can sprint from a standstill through to 100 km/h in just under 4 seconds and a top speed approaching 320 km/h (200mph). However, through MTM’s expert tuning, they have managed to extra 722 hp and 885 Nm of torque. As a result, the Audi RS6 by MTM can rocket from 0-100 km/h in a Ferrari rivalling 3.3 seconds. 200 km/h then goes by in 11.3 seconds before the Audi RS6 by MTM rockets past 250 km/h in just under 19 seconds. All told, the MTM tuned RS6 will top out at 340 km/h!

All of this power and speed is transferred to the ground via 20-inch MTM bimoto wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Supersports measuring 285/35 ZR. Next, the Audi RS6 by MTM features large MTM-defined Brembo monoblock six-piston brakes at all four corners measuring 405 x 36 mm. The price of the kit is 18,000 euros. The price tag on the power upgrade to 685 hp alone is just short of 5,000 euros and the mtm stainless steel exhaust system with flaps in the front and main silencer worth almost 4,000 euros is included in the price.

However, MTM is not yet done with the C7 Audi RS6 with the company’s boss Roland Mayer revealing that the company is currently evaluating the possibility of different variations.
