At the Tokyo Auto Salon 2014, 3D Design brought along some of their most impressively tuned BMWs.

Without a doubt, the most impressive car 3D Design displayed was their potent BMW M6 Gran Coupe. Under its beefed up exterior, the car is identical to the standard M6 and M6 GranCoupe which we recently drove and found to be very impressive. If anything needed to be improved it certainly was not the engine or drivetrain.

In the front sits the 4.4 litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, similar to the power plant of the M5, that produces a sufficient 560 hp and take the GranCoupe from zero to 100 km/h in just 4,2 seconds. That’s as quick as the M6 coupé and 0.3 seconds quicker than the lighter M5. The top speed is limited at 250 km/h but it can be raised to 305 km/h with the addition of the M Drivers package.

Back to the changes that the tuners have made. Available for the M6 is a front lip spoiler set, under splitters, side skirts, read diffuser (that we love!) and the mandatory trunk spoiler. The murdered out look really add to the M6 Gran Coupé’s lines and comes together to create a very sinister looking package that must surely make this M6 Gran Coupé one of the most aggressive around.
