Facelifted Audi A7 Tests in the Snow

Even though the current Audi A7 looks like a brand new design, Audi is already hard at work creating a facelifted version of the luxury sedan. New spyshots have emerged capturing the 2015 Audi A7 undergoing cold winter testing while under heavy camouflage.

What is most revealing about the image you see above is that the roof, A, B and C-pillars are not camouflaged suggesting that the upcoming Audi A7 Sportback will simply feature a few cosmetic changes to the front, sides and rear.

Up front, this prototype feature a new bumper and grille design with the camouflage also hiding some new Matrix LED headlights. Previous spyshots have shown that at the rear, the facelifted Audi A7 will feature new exhaust pipes and slightly revised taillights.

Because the 2015 Audi A7 is just a mid-life facelift, we don’t expect to see any dramatic new developments or offerings in the engine department. With that being said, there is a possibility that the A7 could be available with a new 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel V6 engine delivering 258 hp.

Currently pinned as a 2015 model, we can expect a worldwide public debut sometime this year, possibly at the IAA Frankfurt Auto Show 2014 in late September. As you would imagine, facelifted variants of the S7 and RS7 will follow soon after.
