The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 went on sale in October and is the most expensive Mercedes-Benz behind the SLS Electric Drive. Amazingly, the car will uses a 5.5-liter bi-turbo V8 engine pumping out 536hp and 560lb-ft of torque. This engine is then mated to a seven-speed 7G-tronic transmission driving all six wheels making this one of the best off-road cars currently on sale today.
The car gets its origins form the C320 CDI developed specifically for the Australian army recently and measures an incredible 5867mm long, 2111mm wide and 2209mm tall. What these figures mean is that the Mercedes-Benz G63 6×6 is an impressive 43.5 inches longer than the standard car, and once seeing the car in action, it’s little wonder why the extra two wheels add so much length.
Despite its heavy weight of 8,322 pounds, the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 can reportedly sprint to 100km/h in just 6
seconds onto a top speed of 160km/h. With just 20-30 being built per annum, this is also one of the rarest Mercedes cars available and it certainly will stand out from the crowd!
One of the 6×6’s has been spotted in the USA, this 37″ wheeled beast is finished in a rather intimidating matte grey, we can’t wait to see one patrolling the streets.
