Toyota Bringing All-Time Le Mans Cars to Goodwood 2014

Toyota is set to steal the show for motorsport fans at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed 2014 with confirmation that it will bring together no less than four of its works Le Mans racing cars from recent decades!

First off, the original Toyota TS010 which raced in the 1992 and 1993 Le Mans 24 Hours will be displayed alongside the TS020 which replaced it. Better known as the Toyota GT-One, this car raced at Le Mans in 1998 and 1999 and features a Toyota 3.6-liter 90-degree twin-turbocharged V8 engine mated to a 6-speed sequential manual transmission.

Toyota returned to the highest level of endurance racing for the 2012 season with the new TS030 Hybrid. During its two seasons of racing, the TS030 Hybrid took five victories, five pole positions and 10 podium finishes. The fourth and final Toyota Le Mans car to be displayed will be the brand new TS040 Hybrid. Excitingly, it will be piloted by Toyota Racing driver Anthony Davidson up the famous hillclimb during the three day festival.
