Back at the SEMA show last year, Chevrolet presented the Corvette Stingray Pacific Coupe as well as the Corvette Stingray Atlantic Convertible. Now it can be confirmed that these two special design packages will hit the pavement with sales set to start later this year.
First off, the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Pacific Coupe is the more track focused of the two and is available in any of the following four colours; Torch Red, Black, Arctic White, Blade Silver and Shark Grey. It then comes with prominent black racing stripes, a carbon fiber roof and carbon fiber ‘ground effects’ package including a more prominent front splitter, side skirts and rear bootlid spoiler. Most notably, the carbon fiber has been left visible and not painted over unlike the regular Corvette.
The Corvette Stingray Pacific Coupe comes standard with the otherwise optional Z51 package and is available in 2LT and 3LT trimes. It also features red brake calipers and as with all other 2015 models, comes with the Corvette’s new Performance Data Recorder and can also be equipped with the brand new eight-speed automatic transmission.
As for the Corvette Stingray Atlantic Convertible, it too features the Z51 package and is available for all convertible models with this trim level. It includes a Z06 inspired front splitter, Shark Grey vents, chrome torque wheels with Stingray centre caps, custom splash guards and custom luggage and can be painted in any colour offered on the Corvette.
