Spy shots of the interior of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz ML Coupe have officially emerged for the very first time and as expected, it is typical Mercedes-Benz and consequently, very luxurious and visually appealing.
The interior is essentially identical to the upcoming facelifted Mercedes-Benz ML SUV with it feature the Mercedes-Benz COMAND infotainment system/screen taking pride of place at the top of the centre console. Elsewhere, you’ll find the touch-sensitive controller on the transmission tunnel as well as a very nice and surprisingly sporty steering wheel.
Beyond the interior, the Mercedes-Benz ML Coupe, alternatively known as the MLC, will resemble the Concept Coupe SUV from the Beijing Motor Show very closely. However, as is typically the case, the production-spec Mercedes-Benz ML Coupe will feature redesigned bumpers both front and rear as well as larger wing mirrors. It is also likely that slightly tweaked headlights and taillights will feature.
Additionally, we know that a host of variants will be offered. At the top of the range will be the ML 63 AMG Coupe and ML 65 AMG Coupe. The ML 63 AMG Coupe is likely to utilise a 5.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivering 577 hp and 663 lb-ft of torque. By comparison, the ML 65 AMG Coupe could feature the company’s massive 6.0-litre, twin-turbo V12. Elsewhere, the car will be available with a selection of petrol and diesel V6 engines while also being offered as a hybrid.
