With the Audi A8 having the difficult job of competing with the latest-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi needs to ensure that its technologies and performance match-up. While the new S-Class has been on the market less than a year, a coupe variant is already out whereas a two-door Audi A8 has yet to be created which begs the question, will Audi follow Mercedes-Benz’s lead and create a convertible version of its most luxurious car?
That remains to be seen but in the interim, we can at least enjoy the following rendering created by X-Tomi Design showcasing an Audi A8 Coupe. While the standard Audi A8 is a very large car, removing the two rear doors actually looks quite good and if created, we can imagine the car being quite popular!
