Preview: Top 10 Iconic Cars to See at Goodwood Revival

The Goodwood Revival 2014 is taking place across this weekend and as always, some truly incredible cars will be attending. Here are the Top 10 cars to look forward to seeing on display and in action on the track.

First off, there will be 33 examples of the legendary Jaguar D-Type attending with 20 of those set to compete in the Lavant Cup. Additionally, 16 Maserati 250 Fs are set to participate in a large parade to celebrate the centenary of the Italian company.

Elsewhere, 18 Ford Mustangs will be competing in the special Shelby Cup race as this year is the 50th anniversary of the famous American muscle car. Additionally, four racing examples of the Ferrari 250 GT SWB/C will compete in the two-driver Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration race with an ultra-rare 1953 Cunningham C4R also participating in the Freddie March Memorial Trophy race.

Other cool cars coming to the Goodwood Revival are Sir Jackie Stewart’s 1969 Formula One championship winning Matra-Cosworth MS80 with ‘The Versatile V8’ Earls Court Concours display set to attract 25 V8 powered cars. A 1959 Aston Martin DBR1 will also be racing as well as the classic Manx Norton motorcycle and a selection of pre-war Bugattis, Aston Martins and others on the way!
