Having had the privilege of driving the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG on multiple occasions, we know just how good the German performance-oriented luxury car is. Despite the S63 AMG being one of the finest vehicles currently on the market, IMSA decided to tackle the car and has consequently released its tuning kit for the latest-generation S63 AMG.

From a visual standpoint, IMSA has added a new front lip spoiler to the AMG front apron to give the car an even more aggressive persona. Additionally, new side skirts have been added as well as an IMSA rear diffuser. All of these parts are manufactured from lightweight carbon fibre.

Elsewhere, IMSA has added a new set of superlight forged alloy wheels to the car which measure 21×9 at the front and 21×10.5 at the rear. These wheels are then wrapped in rubber measuring 255/35R21 at the front and 295/30R21 at the back. Another key upgrade has been the inclusion of bespoke IMSA tailpipes with a semi-matte finish. They are machined from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminium.

IMSA also decided to fettle with the potent 5.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8 of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG. Typically this engine produces 585 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. However, the IMSA upgrades sees power rise to 729 hp with torque also hitting the 796 lb-ft mark.
