Each and every year, the SEMA Show sees some of the craziest concept cars unveiled to the world. In the lead-up to the 2014 edition, Hyundai and Chicago tuning company Blood Type Racing have unveiled their insane Hyundai Genesis Coupe concept.

Underpinning this Genesis Coupe concept is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. However, it has been thoroughly upgraded and now delivers about 1000 hp at the flywheel and more than 800 at the rear wheels. Such incredible gains have been achieved thanks to parts like forged connecting rods, forged pistons, new cylinder sleeves, GSC Stage 2 camshafts, a custom intake manifold, a massive Precision Turbo 6266 Ball Bearing twin scroll turbocharger, external wastegates, top mount turbo manifold, custom down pipe, custom intercooler and exhaust systems and many, many more modifications including Nitrous.

The suspension has also been upgraded with coilovers, new Whiteline sway bars, strut tower braces, Toyo R888 tyres and new brakes.

A widebody kit with flared wheel arches, a massive rear wing, brand new front fascia and wing mirrors have also been adopted on top of the custom two-piece Work forged wheels.
