The third teaser video of the upcoming 2016 Ford Mustang GT350 has just been released ahead of its debut at next week’s Los Angeles Auto Show 2014. Previous teaser videos about the car have looked at its potent performance capabilities and this particular clip focuses on the design of the heavily modified Mustang variant.

In the video, we hear Ford’s vice president of global design Moray Callum say, “What’s really exciting about this car is the proportional change we made and we’ve really enhanced that proportional change. We’ve lowered the hood, we’ve widened the front track – all things that designers love to do but at the same time this has actually enhanced the performance as well.”

Other teaser videos have confirmed that the Ford Mustang GT350 will be a very track-focused and driver-focused vehicle and that every element of the key will serve a true performance purpose. We also know the car will use large Brembo brakes and that its engine will be extremely free revving and will develop a lot of horsepower per litre while still being efficient.

Beneath the skin, rumours point towards the Mustang GT350 featuring a brand new 5.2-litre V8 engine known internally as the VooDoo.
