When the unique shape of the DeltaWig racing car was originally revealed, many pundits were left scratching their heads as to how the car could compete with the world’s very best racing cars. Interestingly since making its racing debut, the DeltaWing and its arrowhead shaped body has proven quite successful and the following onboard video shows why.

Interestingly, the prime backer for the DeltaWing Coupe featured in this clip is in the midst of legal action against Nissan for intellectual property violations as he claims that Nissan ZEOD RC which briefly ran at the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year blatantly rips off the design of the original DeltaWing.
