Audi TT RS

Back in September, Audi confirmed that a new Audi TT RS is on the cards. The range-topping TT variant is expected to arrive in late 2016 as a 2017 model year and we already know that it will be more powerful than the outgoing car.

While prototypes of the upcoming Audi TT RS have yet to be spied testing, an intriguing rendering has been created of the new TT RS and if the upgrades pictured make it through to production, the German sports car could be extremely impressive.

Styling changes apparent on the car featured include the installation of tweaked headlights, a sharpened front grille, splitter and air intakes. Additionally, the car has been imagined with a fixed rear wing which is likely to be featured on the road-going car.

Beyond these changes, the 2017 Audi TT RS is pinned to use an uprated variant of the previous-gen car’s five-cylinder, turbocharged engine. Power will be lifted from 340 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque however and is likely to sit around the 380 hp mark.
