Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake

German pricing details for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake have emerge online with the new body style coming at a slight premium over the CLA sedan.

The Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake range starts with the CLA180 Shooting Brake which features a petrol engine delivering 120 hp and starting from 29,809 euros in Germany. Elsewhere, the CLA200 Shooting brake will set customers back 32,725 euros while the CLA250 with 208 hp is priced from 39,746 euro and the CLA250 4Matic will come at 41,947 euros.

Other Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake models are the CLA200 CDI diesel costing 34,540 euro and the CLA220 CDI which has been priced from 39,062 euros. The model range is then topped out by the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG Shooting Brake costing a minimum of 57,269 euros.

From a styling perspective, the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake features a very similar roofline to the CLS Shooting Brake. At the front, everything looks like the ‘regular’ CLA while at the rear, the roofline has been extended and now meets a steeply raked rear window. The new body style has added 25 litres of additional boot space to the CLA at 495 litres. That rises to 1354 litres when the rear seats are folded down.

As a reminder, the CLA45 AMG Shooting Brake uses the same 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine as the A45 AMG, CLA45 AMG sedan and GLA45 AMG delivering 355 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque.
