Lotus has confirmed that it will debut a new model at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show 2015 at the start of March. Limited details have been given about the car but recent suggestions indicate that it will be a facelifted version of the existing Lotus Evora.

In an official press release regarding the new vehicle, the British sports car maker confirmed that the new car “will remain true to its core pillars of lightness, performance and driving purity by embodying all of them in a most desirable package.”

Dousing speculation that the new Geneva bound car will simply be a different variant of the existing Lotus Evora, the company cited the recent praise awarded to the Elise S Cup being for a new version of an existing model and promised that the Geneva car will be more than a new version.

Details about the new Evora remain limited at the moment but it is expected to receive revised styling both inside and outside while also making use of additional power and in traditional Lotus style, even less weight than the outgoing model.
