Central Florida-based performance BMW specialists Precision Sport Industries has revealed a special M3 in a stunning Fire Orange GTS race replica project, from European front bumper to the correct GTS rear wing, with body-colour orange roll cage and race seats in between.

The E92 cuts a dash, with lowered springs for purposeful sporty stance and running on gloss black HRE performance P43S wheels shod with Michelin rubber.

PSI said: “In the heart of every M3 enthusiast is the desire to own a ‘special’ M3, one that illustrates their love for everything BMW but also with their own unique flair and individualisation. On Project Fire: Version Two, we made the car into a close GTS replica, with an edge.”

The project launched with acquisition of the original manufacturer spec M3 GTS wing, followed by the AE Performance rollover bar in Fire Orange which contrasts well with the black Recaro SPG XL seats, mounted using the original sliders and mounting positions. With an Active Autowerke SSK short-shift box fitted, the shift knob was changed to the Macht Schnell Nylon edition.

Next, an original European bumper and the IND Sport Evo lip, seen above, were added to match the GTS Wing and to balance out the car’s aerodynamics. The high quality 3D Design diffuser was an instant favourite from Fire Version One and was left on the car for this iteration as well.

Once the interior/exterior mods were complete, the engine was then focused on and with the addition of the Active Autowerke ‘Race’ midpipes and software, the car truly began to sound and perform as aggressively as it looked, and it certainly is a head-turner.

They added: “Version two ended up to be our favorite E9x M3 we have built as of now and shows the true identity of the owner and a testament to the ultimate goal of the build.”
