A Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG has caused carnage in China after crashing into no less than six cars in the city of Quanzhou in Fujian Province.
According to local media reports, the driver of the Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG was drunk and initially crashed into a green taxi before coming to a rest on the pavement. However, the driver started driving again and then hit a small red sedan before careening down a one-way street the wrong way and hitting a further three cars including a Volkswagen Jetta and a Nissan Teana.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG is currently on the run with the female driver of the Volkswagen Jetta in hospital with critical injuries.
In case you didn’t know, the G55 AMG offroader features a 5.5-litre V8 engine delivering a total of 493 hp at 6100 rpm and 516 lb-ft of torque at 2750 rpm.
