It has been confirmed that the 2015 Cholmondeley Pageant of Power will be held from the 12th of June through to the 14th.
Held annually through the grounds of Cheshire’s Cholmondeley Castle, the Pageant of Power this year has the theme ‘power on land, water and in the air’. The Friday has been dedicated to Lotus and is set to include a dedicated concours event for Lotus cars. On the Saturday, a multitude of American muscle cars will tackle the circuit while Sunday the 14th will see a number of supercars from the 1980 taking centre stage.
Discussing the event, James Hall said, “This is the eighth year thatCPOP has been running and we have a lot of exciting elements in the pipeline to make this year’s line-up bigger and better than ever.”
While many cars which hit the course don’t chase times, many do and the record is currently held by the Radical SR8 RX piloted by professional racing driver Robbie Kerr. He managed to complete the circuit in a mere 55.29 seconds beating the previous record set by the Caterham SP/300.R by 6.6 seconds.
