While Porsche has ruled out the potential for a drop-top variant of the Cayman GT4 appropriately dubbed the Porsche Boxster GT4, X-Tomi Design has decided to render how such a model could.
While it seems quite logical that the German marque would offer all the upgrades making up the Cayman GT4 for the drop-top Boxster, current reports claim that the Boxster test mules recently spied testing are simply stripped out variants of the current Boxster GTS.
As such, the new Porsche Boxster variant could be dubbed the Boxster Club Sport and be fitted with the same 330 hp 3.4-litre flat-six petrol engine as the Boxster GTS. Rather than boosting the car’s power and torque figures, Porsche will apparently work its magic on ensuring the sports car is as light as possible while also tweaking the model’s chassis.
