McLaren P1 9

McLaren of Greenwich/Miller Motorcars recently held a rather extraordinary display at its dealership in Connecticut when it put no less than three McLaren P1s on display. On top of the three P1s displayed and secluded in a roped off area, a P1 owner turned up with his example of the British hybrid hypercar making for four P1s in the one place at the same time.

One of the McLaren P1s displayed on the showroom floor was finished in Taracco Orange (the launch colour of the McLaren 650S) and unsurprisingly, it was extremely attention-grabbing and drew in many admirers. Elsewhere was a Volcano Red McLaren P1 complete with black and carbon fibre accents. Finally the third P1 on display was finished in Storm Grey and combined with a black interior and bright orange brake calipers, it managed to shine despite being in the midst of two admittedly bolder P1s!

Although not put on display, a black P1 also rocked up to the display riding on a set of black wheels and complete with black brake calipers.

As a reminder, the McLaren P1 features a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V8 engine mated to an electric motor to produce a combined 903 hp.
