A one-off Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 has just been unveiled to support the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.

Appropriately dubbed the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 Laureus Special Edition, the car is actually the 100th SLS AMG GT3 produced and is set to be used in a number of promotional events around the world. The car was auctioned off and raised 250,000 euros with all of that money set to be provided to the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.

Making the SLS AMG GT3 Laureus Special Edition unique from other SLS AMG GT3’s is its combination of the white exterior combined with blue wheels, canards and a blue front splitter and front grille surround.

Discussing the marque’s involvement with the Laurens Sport for Good Foundation, member of the board of management of Daimler in Greater China, Hubertus Troska said “Daimler fully embraces and supports the great ways in which Laureus changes the lives of young people. Together with the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation we will give by 2016 about 150,000 deprived young people in China a chance and better perspective through sport.”
