Tuning company ABT Sportsline has just unveiled its special upgrade package for the popular Audi S3. Designed to provide the car with even more performance as well as some visual modifications, the ABT upgrades certainly aren’t shy on panache.
For starters, ABT has worked its magic on the S3’s 2.0 TFSI engine which typically pumps out 300 hp and 380 Nm of torque bringing the total figure to 370 hp and 460 Nm. However, an even more comprehensive tuning kit is available which sees peak power rise to 400 hp and 480 Nm.
Those horsepower and torque gains have been achieved thanks to software tweaks, an ABT exhaust system with a sports catalytic converter and new mufflers. From a handling standpoint, the car can be ordered with ABT sway bars both front and rear.
Design wise, ABT has created a new front grille, fender inserts and rear skirt for the German sedan. Additionally, a selection of aftermarket wheels are available as are ABT floor mats, entrance lights and an ABT start-top button.

It doesn’t always have to be an estate or a hatchback: with the Audi S3 compact sport limos have seen a come back now for quite some time. And if its 300 HP/ 221 kW make you want the even stronger RS 3, please note that ABT Sportsline has dealt you a new deck of cards. “With our specially developed ABT Power New Generation control unit the RS3 falls short not only in body length,“ says CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt with a smile and adds that several performance upgrades are also ready for the Audi A3 3-door version and the sportback. But let’s stay with the limo, which now features 370 HP/ 272 kW, with a torque 460 Nm, up from 380.
“And that’s not the end of it,” Abt continues. If you opt for the more complex ABT Power S package, you will get no less than 400 HP/ 294 kW and 480 Nm. Responsible for the 33% upgrade is not only the software but also the ABT exhaust system including pre-pipe and sport-type catalytic converter. Bends will not hinder you but make it all much more fun. After all, ABT also provides the right sport-type sway bars for the front and rear axle.
All in all, this fast notchback’s KPI are really quite something, which is why the Bavarians underline its design with an optional front grille and sporty fender inserts. All is well that ends well – in form of an ABT rear skirt set, front silencer and stainless steel muffler with black chrome-plated end pipes included.
All you still need are the right alloy wheels. The depicted brand new 20’’ ABT FRs aside, there are also the CR, DR or ER-Cs, available, depending on the model, from 18 to 20’’ and with various finishes as well.
So the Audi S3 limo might even be a notch above its almost perfect basis.
