In what’s quickly becoming the most cryptic car release ever, a third picture has been revealed supposedly from the Lambo-Power forums which shows what the cars tail lights look like. Theres also speculation that the car could be called the Urus. The new teaser was released with the tag-line ‘A new Lamborghini. The elegant realisation of technical potential’. Now we know that the car could potentially be front engined with a diffuser and sleek, Aston Martin style tail lights. It seems most likely the car will be a saloon.

German tuner IMSA have just released new images of their kit for the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster. The modifications include an agressive new body-kit with some aggressive new air intakes over the wheel arch and front bumper, not only this but theres a new wide bodykit, a carbon difuser and rear spoiler all adding insane amounts of attitude. Theres a modest power increase also, taking the power up to 708hp, lifting the top speed over 217mph. This is due to the mixture of the aerodynamics and the power increase made possible by a new high flow exhaust. The final items are the glossy black wheels and the new orange (!) interior to complete the makeover. Enjoy the pictures.

The website also gives you a choice of what to guess for, a new car, a new advertising campaign, a new website, a new concept store, a new headquarters, a new trident logo, a new testomonial or a new logo. My vote’s gone in a new car, just like 46% of other visiters currently, which one are you going to pick?

With the current economic climate, record setting auction results are hardly the expected headlines, yet we have a second in the space of just a year! A Ferrari 250 GTO was sold at auction to an English buyer recently for a staggering €20 million (£15.7 million) taking the crown from the California Spyder sold to Chris Evans at just over €7 million. The 250 GTO is one of the most desirable Ferraris with only 39 examples known to have been built, it’s rare that any of these come up for sale at auction therefore this sale attracted a lot of attention from Ferrrari enthusiasts. The car in question was a 1963 car (mid-way through it’s 1962-64 production run) and boasts a V12 and 302bhp. Were unsure where the auction was or by which company though at the moment.
