The list of tuners has grown a lot through the last 2 years and most of them made a lot of fame. One we didn’t mention before is the American 360° Forged. After finding out about this one I can only find positive words about what we easily may call the rimms and lowering specialist from the US, based in Miami. The spirit of the company is based on delivering quality instead of quantity, what some tuners do the other way. Founder Jordan Swerdloff has a qualitfied team behind him to bring the customors exactly what they want.

Arden’s latest creation is a monster! Based on the Jaguar XF, it’s main headline is the 550hp that has been released from the V8 engine which has been bored out to 4.5 litres to help achieve this figure. They’re also offering a 380hp and 500hp version and an uprated diesel version from 207hp to 250hp. Thats almost the whole range modified at once! Other changes are in the 21inch wheels and the Arden custom suspension, also the bodykit provides a new front end with a Jaguar ornament and a range of other subtle cosmetic tweaks.

By suprise Jaguar showed off their brand new Jaguar XF-R model at the Goodwood hillclimb today. Not many people seemed to have noticed it but it’s clearly the new R model with Jaguar’s supercharged 5.0-liter V8 under the bonnet. The 500 hp XF-R has had adjustments to the suspension and brakes to match the increased power and sportivity of the XF-R. Optically we see the new 20″ inch all-black wheels, black front grill and new hood with two double air vents.
This unexpected appearance of a ‘production ready’ XF-R at Goodwood Festival of Speed could hint at an official introduction at the London Motorshow later this month. More pictures of the first day at Goodwood Festival of Speed can be found here.

Yesterday GTspirit member Volverine saw three Jaguars pull over in front of his house. Turns out it were no ordinary Jaguars but the 2009 Jaguar XKR and 2009 Jaguar XFR models.
2009 Jaguar XKR
The 2009 Jaguar XKR facelift has an updated front grill, now pointing up with the tips. Most important update to the car are it’s improved brakes:
XKR Portfolio’s Alcon R Performance braking system is the result of close collaboration between leading brake manufacturer Alcon and Jaguar’s engineers who together carried out extensive testing at Jaguar’s specialist engineering center, based at the Nurburgring in Germany. Boasting the largest brake discs ever fitted to a production Jaguar – with 400mm front brake discs and powerful six-piston callipers, while at the rear four-piston callipers operate on 350mm discs – the XKR Portfolio’s brakes produce fade-free performance time and time again whilst maintaining Jaguar’s renowned blend of refinement and stopping power.
2009 Jaguar XFR
The 2009 Jaguar XFR comes with Jaguar’s supercharged 5.0-liter V8 that produces a good 500 horsepower. Updates to the looks of the car are limited to an all-black front grill, 20 inch wheels and a lower ride height due to sportier suspension.

About two months after the first spy-pictures of the XF-R, the upcoming Jaguar got spied again. This time almost completely uncovered. If you are passionated by Jaguar you can recognize some parts of it’s coupé brother, the XKR. For exemple you see the air-intakes in the hood and the 4 exhaust pipes on the back. Exact figures on the output of the car aren’t released yet, but sources claim that it will have a 500 bhp strong V8 in the nose. Let’s wait for more news…

Supercar producers presenting an S model of their cars isn’t new at all. But Jaguar that already had the XKR created now an S version for what allready is a special version of a sportscoupé. The Jaguar XKR-S is the name. This one will stay exclusive because there will only be 200 built of it and they all stay in Europe.
