Baby Porsche Cayenne Spied

It was kind of expected, but Porsche denied it untill the last moment. Well, let’s say untill the moment it firstly got caught on a camera. When we see the pictures it’s clear that Porsche wants to built an SUV to compete with the upcoming Audi Q5 and the Mercedes-Benz GLK. Question are, will Porsche also offer smaller engine SUV’s? And when will they officially announce it? What is for sure, is that this baby Cayenne will be a hit on the market. A name isn’t confirmed yet, but what we got sofar is, Porsche Roxster. Most likely it will not be called that way but we have to start somewhere.
Porsche Turbo Cabriolet SP600 by Sportec

With more and more tuning packages coming up, you could think almost everybody has found something that he likes. But that’s isn’t really true, that’s why Sportec came up with this SP600 package for the Turbo Cabriolet. Next to this package, shown in the pictures, you can chose for an even stronger version called the Sportec SP680 or if you only want to drive public shopping streets you can also take the ’slowest’ version, the SP530. The names explain the power that is derived from the boxerengine. The SP600 sprints from 0 - 62 mph (100 kmh) in just 3.3 seconds.
2008 Villa d’Este

While all supercar producers are packing together in Monaco for one of the best shows in a year, there’s also the Concours d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. This is an evenet for several classics and concept cars. Every year there’s a winner selected at this show. This year the best car on the show was the Bugatti 57SC Atalante. 2009 Porsche 911

After spotting several mules of the facelifted Porsche 911 to be presented next year, it seems some official documents leaked with all details on it. The pages tell us that the power of the 911 will raise, production- and releasedate and optional extras. The biggest news is the introduction of a seven-speed DSG transmission. Also worth mentioning is the power of the 3.6 liter engine going up to 345 bhp and the 3.8 liter get’s an extra 30 bhp, up to 385 horses… Pictures after the jump!
2009 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S

Porsche has unveiled that they will show the Cayenne Turbo S (second generation) model in China. Due to high demand, particularly in the emerging markets of Eastern Europe and Asia, the sporty hyper SUV carries on where the previous Cayenne Turbo S left off. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S sprints from 0 to 62 mph (100 kmh) in only 4.8 seconds and has a topspeed of 175 mph (280 kmh). The Turbo S will be introduced into the market from August 2008. The international pricetag is € 111,400 ($ 176,800 - £ 89,150).
Porsche 997 GT3RS facelift

We only start to see them now and then and Porsche already started testings for a facelift of it’s 997 GT3RS. The Porsche gets a new front and rear bumper, revised suspension (PASM), larger side mirrors, new front bumper, new front lip, new rear bumper, new fog lights, LED tail lights , refreshed head lights and last but not least a power increase of about 15 - 20 bhp.
Porsche GT2 BTR-XS 650 by SpeedART

The guys at SpeedART have obviously come to the decision that the latest performance variant of the 997 911, the GT2, is underpowered and have taken it upon themselves to fix this small problem. One modified stock snail, one set of new headers, a new exhaust, larger intercoolers and a revised ECU later and they finally think they’ve nailed it. This beast now produces 650 bhp and 634 Nm of torque, propelling the BTR- XS 650 to 62mph (100kmh) in 3.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 216 mph (345 kmh).
St Pete’s - Florida Car Show

Carshows are something we see all over the world. But in America they have those shows, that are just a little bit different, not to say special. In Floriday they had the St Pete’s Car Show. A lot of nice supercars showed up including one guy with his collection of 15 Ferraris: 1 Enzo, 1 FXX, a brand new F1 car and a pair of white Ferrari’s, a 612 Scaglietti and a 599 GTB, were there. Next to that there was a Ferrari F40 and several other beauties. We’ve added a selection of pictures below, you can find more pictures in our forum!
Lamborghini Gallardo SE vs Audi RS4 vs Porsche 911 4S

With the winterseason running at it’s end, the guys from Auto Motor und Sport came up with the idea of doing a nice snow test. They took 3 of the best four-wheel drive cars out on very snowy roads. They tried to find out if Porsche could keep-up with or even break the perfect driving skills of a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Audi RS4: Stuttgart vs Ingolstad/Sant’Agata Bolognese. GT-R vs 977 Turbo vs ZO6

Nissan has just started with the delivery of the first GT-R’s. This car is a new competitor on the market for Porsche. It’s nothing new when we say the GT-R is a serious competitor for the Turbo that had several hard-times to keep up with the Japanese racer. Porsche wins design price

Last Friday Kelley Book gave away the price for “Best Exterior Design in the Sports Car / Convertible caterogy” and the winner was the German sporstcar. Porsche received this price for their endless nice design of car’s during the last 60 years!
