GTspirit covers and attends two of the world’s most important Concours d’Elegances: Pebble Beach and Villa d’Este. At both the Villa d’Este and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance not only rare vintage cars make their appearance but also modern concept cars celebrate their introduction. GTspirit covered Villa d’Este in 2009, 2010 and 2011. The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance 2010 and 2011 became one of our most popular Concours coverages of all time. Other Concours d’Elegance we covered include the Concorso d’Eleganza Trofeo Salvarola Terme 2011 and Schloss Bensberg Classics 2010.
Long before GTspirit was founded we had an interest in legendary road rallies like the Cannonball Run and the Gumball Rally. And although the general support and our interest in these events have made place for other things we covered our fair share of road rallies. In the last few years we covered the Gumball 3000, Bullrun, Cannonball Run, Carbon Black, GoldRush, Playersrun, Top Run, Torpedo Run and the Quote Challenge.
GTspirit is not just about shiny new cars and modern events, sometimes we like to attend some classic and historic events like La Carrera Panamericana or the Mille Miglia. Other classic events include Schloss Dyck Classic Days and Silverstone Classic.
Many trackdays are held every month around the globe. We cover the most interesting events and bring the best photo and video reports to our readers.
Since 2010 GTspirit is the official media partner of all Gran Turismo Events. The Swedish organization puts up 6 annual track events throughout Europe. It all started in 2005 with the first Gran Turismo Polonia. In 2011 over 600 supercars take part in Gran Turismo Events on famous race tracks around Europe including Spa, Nurburgring and Zandvoort. Read the latest news and reports about Gran Turismo Events.
Other trackdays we covered include a hypercar trackday at Shanghai International Circuit and various trackdays on Spa Francorchamps and the Nurburgring. For a full overview of all the trackdays we’ve covered at GTspirit have a look at our trackdays channel.
