The Portuguese football star and pride of Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo has crashed his Ferrari into a roadside barrier in a tunnel near Manchester Airport. The Telegraph reports that the sportscar was badly damaged when it was involved in the smash at around 10:20 AM this morning. Reports say that he walked away from the crash scene without any injury. Ronaldo himself claims that he has overcome the negativity since returning from ankle surgery in September. Anyway, he’s not the first sports star to crash his car and then are we immediately thinking of father Hamilton!
