Bentley Continental Supersports

According to Automotive News, the complete Bentley Continental model line-up will be sold as flex-fuel-only vehicles starting in June. The British car maker announced this news at the Geneva Motor Show two weeks ago. The main reason is the reduction of CO2 emissions throughout their complete fleet of 15% by 2012.

The luxury vehicles will use a specialized flex-fuel version of the 6.0 liter W12 engine. The engine runs multiple fuels – Bioethanol or gasonline – and a mix of both from one single gastank.

The vehicles leaking support for the flex-fuel setup are the Brooklands, Azure and all new-Mulsanne. The Mulsanne will be converted to run on ethanol in the future. An exact time stamp has not been set at this moment.

  1. I like that idea but still there is the problem of gas stations providing bio ethanol.
I don’t know any gas station with bio ethanol.
